Mixing Detail and a Velvet Kimono

When your Fall weather currently includes a high of 77 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 52, one must dress appropriately. I have paired my favorite vintage kimono with a Miu Miu cotton crop top. The crop top has sequined flowers at the top and is a burnt pink color that is perfect for Fall. The shirt helped me tie in the flowers on the Kimono without being over-the-top. A good way to mix prints is to have one printed item and one plain item that has a little detail on it of the same nature. For the jeans (brand: KanKan), I choose ripped hems and holes. It brought more texture to the look and kept me cooler. I also choose my shoes, so that I wouldn’t be to warm throughout the day. I choose these brown Prada heels because the color is very Autumn like, but they are open toed. The last detail I mixed in was the Pour La Victoire purse! The front of the bag is a marbled orange. Luckily, the bag had colors in it that the kimono also had, so it worked as one big color palette to follow. The sunglasses I am wearing are Brown Versace’s. Love, Claire.
