Hey everyone:) This outfit is one of my favorites because it is chic but warm for winter, part of it was bought at a thrift shop, and it screams Ralph Lauren Runway! If you need a layering outfit for Northern winters, but still want to look elegant, you have found your style inspiration here. To layer this skirt for warmth, you can add tights on underneath, wear knee high boots instead of booties, or wear a sweater instead of a cotton turtleneck. The styles are limitless. The skirt is all vintage suede from a thrift store. The suede helps trap heat and snow rolls off the fabric. The belt is a neutral tone Coach belt that I also picked up from a thrift store. Since the belt buckle was silver and round, I choose a Michael Kors coat with round silver hardware. My booties had fur on the top to bring in a pop of texture. I wore a plain black turtle neck, so the focal point of the outfit was the skirt. To keep the overall neutral tones, I used a small Louis Vuitton flap bag. My sunglasses were Ralph Lauren. Love, Claire.
